Being a northerner with a few years under my belt, I’ve observed a lot of changes over the past few decades. Long before cameras were as common as the coins in your pocket, I chose to record my surroundings with paint. I painted as a hobby when I was younger but eventually decided to pursue it as a career full time. My aim is to record life and the surroundings we live in both the past and present. It’s an affectionate look at bygone times with a gentle touch of humour.
